"Diving with someone you trust as diver is a very good idea. But diving with someone you love brings a shared joy and dependency which is a reinforcement of the closeness you feel above water" Tim Ecott

trip_dec_2011_040_-_CopyWe are Adam and Tammy Blunt.

In 2009 we opened The Scuba Shed and since then we have certified divers of all levels and taught first aid courses to a range of customers from carpet fitters and plumbers to engineers. We have run trips to Egypt, Iceland, Brussels as well as all around the                                 British coast.

Shortly after opening The Scuba Shed we were approached to provide First Aid cover for a range of events, since then we regularly provide Event cover to Football tournaments, Show Jumping events and Music festivals. Although we never intended to go down this route we have found this side of our business very enjoyable and rewarding. We can now offer a range of first aid solutions from individual first aiders to teams of first aiders complete with first aid station.

How Did We Get Here?

Our diving started through a BSAC club. Our experiences through the club have shown us that people learn well through structured and relaxed teaching, which we pride ourselves on.

Adam started diving in 2002 under BSAC and became a BSAC Instructor in 2007.
Adam crossed over to become a PADI Instructor in 2008. He is now a Master Scuba Diver Trainer rated instructor teaching a variety of Specialty courses, EFR Instructor and a PADI O2 Instructor.
He also holds varies other qualifications, Diploma in Marina Biology, BSAC Boat Maintenance and DSAT Gas Blender.

Tammy started snorkelling in 2002 and learnt to dive in 2006. She became a BSAC Snorkel Instructor in 2008 and a BSAC Dive Leader in 2010. Tammy crossed to PADI in 2008 and became a Dive Master in 2010. Tammy is also a EFR Instructor. She holds a RYA level 2 in Boat Handling too.
